Dominic Chen (@DistinguishGent)
Dominic F. Chen is the Executive Director of a racing brake company in Huntington Beach, California. He grew up in the San Francisco bay area but moved to Orange County where he attended the University of California at Irvine and graduated with degrees in Sociology and Economics. As a result, he has mastered what he calls, “the art of efficient observation,” or incessantly poking his nose into the social interaction of others, but doing so with the least possible amount of effort. Over the years, Dominic has developed a predilection for fine dining, fine wine and luxury goods. Attributing these preferences to the brand he has represented for the past six years, he vehemently argues that “you get what you pay for.” Between attending various race events around the world, he avidly enjoys sitting down to write accompanied by Dean Martin and a bottle of Bourdeaux. Weddings are of particular interest to him, as he believes there are few moments in a person’s life more momentous. At WhereToGetEngaged.com, Dominic hopes to help fellow gentlemen discern between what to do and what not to with regards to everything weddings.

Andy Koehn (@BuyLikeAGuy)
Andy Koehn is a jeweler (Koehn & Koehn Jewelers) and a man’s man. He’s going to help you “buy like a guy.”
Don’t have an uncle in the diamond business? Andy’s blunt and unconventional wisdom for guys who are in the market for diamonds and engagement rings will make you feel like you do. He wants to hear your questions…some stories too…the good and the not so good. Andy believes buying an engagement ring is one of the easiest things you’ll ever do…but it’s made hard by our industry, the media, and of course…other guys. Most of the “hard” information you get is from the misinformed…or people who haven’t spent much time in the business. The information you DO get from the industry is sugar-coated and veiled in whispy phrases that don’t do a helluva’ lot for you when you’re trying to make your decision. That ends here.
